I heard a clip of Palin's speech at the VP announcement; complete and utter pander to Hillary's voters....

Despite the fact she stands against everything Hillary stands for.

Obama and Biden can't do it, we need Hillary to expose how utterly unprepared she is.

In this video she doesn't even know what the VP does.

palin had a huge "flag pin/brooch" on her lapel BUT mccain had NO "Flag Pin" on his lapel or anywhere else!

Why does mccain hate this country?

Oh... wait... maybe he thought hers was so big that it counted for both of them!? That must be it.

Let's contribute to an escrow account for Hillary (since it's too late for primary debt contributions) since many here didn't wish to contribute before. Now that she's needed to bash Palin . . . give generously.

I don't think we necessarily need Hillary to push back against Palin. In fact, I think that's probably a bit counterproductive.

But clearly Palin needs to be pushed back against. It should be done in the same way any other pick would. Respectfully, but forcefully. She's a great short term pick, but a lousy one outside of a 24-48 hour window. Remember that, and remind people of that.

McCain's camp is now a circus. Use it.

We ABSOLUTELY need Michelle and Hillary and Jill Biden to mount a full-on assault on Sarah Palin. Everyone else needs to treat her with kid gloves, the GOP did this because they want to use the "misogyny" argument that was so effective for HRC during the primary.

Finally, a sensible strategy. I agree 100%. Obama > McCain. Period. If Obama keeps contrasting himself with McCain he wins. Palin is a part of the undercard.
